Great location & very good standard and facilities as expected from any Amari group hotel. Wonderful rooftop dining and live music, superb rooftop pool with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and happy hour drinks. Breakfast was a delight with a huge array of delicious fresh food choices. Absolutely loved the hoppers!

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Amari Colombo. We were greeted warmly with a welcome drink and the check in was handled while we enjoyed the drinks. Special thanks to Hansi from the reception! She was very kind and helped us with everything during our stay. One night we tried the dinner buffet at the hotel's Ahara Restaurant. It was amazing with so many options and well worth the price. The rooftop bar was also great, even though we had to sit inside due to rainy evenings. The location was great as well with many attractions in walking distance or reachable with short tuk tuk drives.

My stay at Amari Colombo was truly exceptional. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and bars. The room was spotless and offered breathtaking views of the sea and sunset, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Breakfast was diverse, catering to various preferences, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. The rooftop infinity pool was stunning, providing a fantastic panoramic view of the city and the ocean. Dining at Prego Italian Restaurant was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options and a charming setting to unwind in the evening with live music while overlooking Colombo’s vibrant city lights. Overall, a memorable stay with excellent amenities and service.

I was so lucky having chosen Amari for my stay in Colombo. It is a great new hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms, fantastic views other the city or the ocean, professional and friendly staff and stunning rooftop swimming pool and restaurant. It is a great value for money too. The food was delicious and well presented, both for breakfast ( both Western and Sri Lankan specialties) and room service. Did not try buffet dinner but will do so next time. If you are looking for a place to stay at either start or end of your tour to Sri Lanka, look no further than Amari Colombo.

I spent my last night here before flying back to my home country. I was really excited when I finally checked in because the room was very cozy and modern. It was the best last-minute decision of my trip! The hotel workers who assisted me throughout were very accommodating and approachable. Minushi from the front desk made me feel like a VIP upon arriving. I will never forget that moment! Check-out was super quick too. Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest! Amari Colombo is such a promising hotel in the heart of the capital city of Sri Lanka! The hotel location is superb, and the views are just breathtaking. I can't wait to be back and will surely recommend this hotel to my friends or family who are heading to Sri Lanka.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I had a wonderful stay at Amari Hotel in Sri Lanka! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful — not just because they had to be, but because they truly cared. One staff member in particular, Nishel, stood out for being so responsive and attentive at the check in. The facilities were spotless, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better — right in downtown, close to everything. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’d definitely recommend Amari Hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

The ocean view rooms are stunning. It feels like you are right on the ocean. Breakfast has good options of local and western choices. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Minushi at the reception was especially helpful. Location is good, the train station is just across the road and can explore shops and restaurants around on foot easily. Rooms are clean and modern.

The fact that everything is new and the swimming pool at the rooftop. The view of the city is great. Also the buffet was so delicious and abundant. So many options from different cuisines! Would totally recommend it. We enjoyed our time there to recover from moving around the east of Sri Lanka. The ocean view room was really good, as waking up to the view of the sea and nothing else was great.
